I posted a thread about the Pocketstudio in the Tascam forum, but nothing's happening over there. Anyway, I'm thinking about getting either the Fostex MR-8 or the Tascam Pocketstudio. Which would y'all recommend?

Has anyone tried the Pocketstudio? I never use my 424 mkII, because cassettes are a pain and are almost obsolete. Would the Pocketstudio be a decent replacement? (I'm planning to set up my computer for recording, but I'd like to have the Pocketstudio also for the portability.)
