Exchanging DiMarzios - What should I get?

I tried a DiMarzio Norton and a FRED in my Les Paul, but after 10 minutes of playing, I realized they're not what I'm looking for. (I may go with a Seymour Duncan Custom/59 in the LP.) I put the Norton and FRED in my alder-bodied Tele copy, and although I like them a little bit better, I still think I'm going to use DiMarzio's exchange policy to get something else.

I'm not going to put DiMarzios back in my Les Paul, so the exchange pups are going in the alder Tele. For that guitar, I want a vintage, rootsy sound for playing blues, jazz, and classic rock. I was thinking about getting either a Virtual PAF set, Bluesbucker set, or a Virtual PAF/Bluesbucker combo. Does anyone have any experience with these pups? Any other suggestions?
 
Thanks for the suggestions, but since I'm using DiMarzio's 30-day exchange policy, I have to get DiMarzio's. Too bad I can't exchange DiMarzios for something else.
