I used to buy those as well before I knew they fail almost as easily as cheapies. I did just find a toasted Monster in a closet the other day that I exchanged without question tho. Not sure it was worth the price I had paid whatever that was 14 years ago.

I wasn't in the door 5 minutes and the guy had a new cable in my hand - no questions asked. $12.95 10ft PROformace with an L connector on one end. I felt so good I splurged and bought a $15 20' HOT Wires braided red cable (also guaranteed for life)
I step on my guitar cables a lot and they yank out of teh guitar - cause i like to spin in circles when I shred
(if you believe that shit, I got some Monster cables to sell you... except the stepping part - i do tend to step on them a lot
