I wanna hook a mixer up to my Gina 24 via optical cable. I need it to have 8 xlr ins adat out and be around $300. Anyone got any recommendations???

Why cant someone make a reasonably priced, say under $400 interface with 8 XLR ins all with phantom power and 2 line level inputs. I mean this would be the ultimate interface for recording drums to vocals. No need for mixers or preamps.....

Just got a brand new Sure SM57 with brand new cable. Tried recording and im getting a very weak signal. The recoding levels are cranked, i dont know what im doing wrong. I should be able to run mic right inot line in on gina correct?? Why am i getting such a weak signal?? Am i losing signal...
