hey guys im micing the amp and doing a direct recording but i need help with the instrument cables, the output line on the back of the amp is UNBALANCED so should i use balanced or unbalanced instrument cable to my interface? btw "marshall" werent very helpful thanks!!

when recording guitar directly from them amp into the interface(jack to jack) does it matter if i use mono cables or stereo?

hey guys can anyone tell me the REAL difference between the tascam us 1641 and us 1800? i have the oppotunity to buy either at a "similair" price should i go a little extra for the us 1800? i'm assuming its an upgrade right?

i'm looking at a few 7 piece mic sets for recording drums now in most sets only the overheads are condenser mics would it not be best to have the bass drum mic a condeser mic also? i;m sure i can get away with the toms ans snare being dynamic mics. please help what do you think?
