Yeah...but depends on the interface and your computer.
Keep one thing in mind...even if you get a mixer with 24 channels, you can only record as many *individual* tracks as you have interface inputs.
If you only have an 8-channel interface, and want to record 12 individual tracks, a mixer will NOT expand that capability for you.
If however you are willing to *sub-mix* with the mixer down to whatever number of interface channels you have, then a mixer can be useful.
