i was not to shure where to post this so i reckon here is as good a place as any.

the following are true!

how about fist fights in the control room that require you to sacrifice your body to save a piece of gear?

i had these 2 guys that were always goofing off and one threw a empty 2 liter at the other one and it hit him in the eye and he had to have extensive eye surgery and he sued the other guy and wanted me to be the witness.

a guitarist walks into the studio an hour late with a 1/2 empy gallon of whisky and says he cant record anymore cause he traded his whole rig for heroin last night.

share your stories!!!!!

I had some guys that wanted to lay on the floor in the dark for a while before we started tracking so they could "commune with Bazoozus" (who ever the fuck that is). I knew right then it was going to be a long, long project.

I also had some guys (AND gals) do the same... except they were commune-ing with each other... all we did was roll the 1/2 track. Infact, we just left the mics where they were .....didn't want to "disturb anything"... just hit the "record" button, for entertainment value to be used at a later date.

funny...they came back and we had video equipment provided then too... wadda ya know

but...I wouldn't call it a 'horror' story though... maybe sounds the same as "horror"....but spelled a little different.

Im recording music for a childrens T V show. We written and recorded the music, and its time for the actors to come in and sing. not only are they tone deaf, but they arrive drinking beer. one of them keeps grabbing the mic stand and trying to sing like he's axl rose.
anyway, we're in the middle of a take with one of the actors and the other one decideds to start playing the drum kit while we are still recording. get him outta here before I hit him.
