Excellent. and Matta matta the point is some people have slower connections better to abort on one small file than a big one.

Also after i zipped the indies I just created a big archive of the indies for your download pleasure.

oh yea...i see...so you record it on a Mac and it takes a PC to make it universal....makes sense...lol

:)

sorry...had to do it..

I guess you cant read....I said a PC universal readable format. i have had issues in the past of reading PC files and had to use Peak for a batch file convert.

Sorry just had to do that back. LOL

have fun

i just installed Kristal. Pretty cool. Might have to try using it for mixing sometime...i like the built in mixer...guess it only allows 16 channels though huh...

OK.. it looks like the folder got changed during upload...
I see that NL is uploading also... I'll change the name of this one and send it too.. should be there in about 15-20 minutes...

Just cancelled my upload. Looks like yours is about halfway already.

I need a faster upload!!!! :D

BTW - Thanks again Bryan - fabulous tracks. I am mixing on a board for the first time, and now that I got my monitors straight, I think it will FINALLY translate!

This song has a LOT going on, it's kinda cool - all the different tracks playing off each other.

Oh yeah I like busy tracks that relate well :)

The percussion was added after everything else was tracked as i felt the sond need a tad bit more drive :)

When all entries are submitted I'll post the final mix version (released) so you guys can hear where I took the track :) In the meantime have fun and mix well :)

Aha, I see that. but wont they have to redownload from the start anyway? Or are there individual ones for download.

No matter, I can unzip em all in just a few minutes with my speedy hands.

It seems you have already planned for a counter to everything I will ask, so I'm just not going to talk ;)

This one should be fun. Tracks last time were great. Not so much my style of music, but it was good for expanding my mixing horizons.

So was there an already pc compatible version that nl5 or someone was trying to put up? Just wondering if I should wait for that or try and download one of the mentioned software and do it myself.. Actually I should probably just wait, since even though I'm playing guitar and browsing forums, I should be studying my hindquarters off for a calculus final tomorrow....

=( I took a shower and now my skin's all dry.

Rough mix -

I think it already makes my last attempt look pitifull.

Comments appreciated.

NL5

NL5, I think you need to bring out those vocals a bit more. Possibly a bit more bass too. The percussion seems to be taking over.

cool stuff Bryan!! This is gonna be fun:)
BTW, do you have the BPM?

i just downloaded the 1 big zip file and imported into Nuendo 2 and works beautiful !

I apologize, I deleted the file off my system before recording the BPM. I think it was around 90 or something but I dont really recall. I;d have to spend another hour decompressing the song to find out.

Count it like we all were taught :)

(count beats for 15 seconds, multiply by 4. you are usually within 1 or 2 BPM of the actual tempo) What bites is that when I export soundbites it does not keep the beat info with the soundbite in DP (or does it?????) Check your soundbites window to see if there is tempo information listed with the soundbite...It would be under soundbite info and should be with the mac versions of the download..... just check one individual file and see. :)

I meant to upload the DP sequence data file :)

BPM should be 98.

I'm struggling to get all tracks into one Logic session. It's the first time since I have the Delta 1010lt that I have to mix more than 24 Tracks...hmm. I guess I'll just have to dig through the Audio config pages...
