New Purchase 4 upcoming lab no name 4 it yet.. planning on doin it all digital maybe deck out with the mackie controls, the xt, and c4.

Blimey.... haven't been to this website in years... I don't remember it having an online forum back then! Got involved in one of the collaboration projects that involved receiviing and passing on a cassette tape between members to build up a song.

My studio has moved on seriously since then. At that time back then I had a 486 PC with an AWE32 souncard, a Ram Micro10 mixer and a Fostex R8. These days I'm all digital... here's a quick picture... more to be found on my website listed in my sig.

That gap in front of the PC keyboard is specially designed to accommodate a dinner plate or an extra large mixed kebab. :p

Nice setup, by the way, and welcome 'back' to the site. Always good to add an extra Brit to this predominantly Yankee melting pot, if only so they can actually understand anything I say!!! :D
 
Hehehe.... good job I didn't mention that the space also accommodates cups o' char and plates of cheese and marmite sarnies ;)

DUDE! another 01x person. I have one too! :D

For some reason finding another person who uses one makes me happy. :confused:
 
It's always good find other people using the same gear. I'm really happy with my 01x & i88x... especially since it still allows me to use my 01v. I checked out your site, really like the Tribal Fire track ... very well recorded. Your vocalist may or may not like this, but she really reminds me of Edie Brickell... especially with the dry treatment you've used on her vocal ... lovely breathy quality in her falsetto voice ... she's a talented vocalist!

Thanks mate. I appriciate it. Unforuntaly TribalFIre has just split up. The singer is very good, but she had no commintment at all :(

Was a shame.

The probelem with the i88x is that they cost the same as an 01x! I find that ridculas!
