i had the wires tightened so much that the snare sound was somewhat choked. it was still a problem.

i love the way my snare sounds when i point an sn57 straight up on the edge of the bottom snare head. my problem, when i hit the kick, it rattles the snare wires. for evey kick hit, i get a very loud rattle from the snare mic. anyone know any tricks to tackle this?
