We have found out about the "drawing automation" feature with the pencil. We have no problem getting the pencil to draw in the master track because it has the graph line visable. But the audio tracks don't have the graph lines visable, how do we get volume and panning to appear so we can draw...

Ok, I work in a studio part time, this is something my boss wants to do. We have a pro-tools digi 002, and a 2" reel to reel. Assuming the chain will be clean, would we benifit from coming out of the digi, into tape, back onto the digi, into the mac to "warm" it up?
