phil, this is spectacular looking work! the whole time checking out those pictures two things went through my head:
1. damn, this is inspiring! how could one NOT put down a great performance in front of something like that? and
2. man, i wish my soldering were that neat. that's some clean lookin work. nicely done!
tip for the "fresh coat of paint"......maybe just buff it nice and polished.
(or if you're feeling "spirit of st louis" and "spirit of '76" inspired, maybe something in red, white and blue.
)
of course, the labor "charge" is the kicker here......how many hours went into it, would you say?
again, nicely done! wish you were near here, b/c i'd love to hear it first-hand.

im wondering if you could pm or link me to the circuit and schematic for the guts of the mic? and the capacitors and resistors needed (if there are any certain ones)
