Well, I'd been using it more or less as an instrument mixer, not really paying attention much, and the switches on the back were switched to high. Then went to test out w/ the little Fostex A-8 (four busses you know...) and to my surprise 0VU on the Fostex was -7VU on the Teac 5.
But 0VU on my other board, was 0VU on the Fostex. So after scratching my head for about 45 minutes, I decided to look at the manual, and in the schematic is a switch indicating -10 or 0 dB.
Duh. It's on the back, low, or high. Mmmh. Wondering now why I'd want 1volt output instead of .3v?
