Hey, sorry guys. Dont worry, the bass is good to go. As for the tele, I'll check out the other thread to see if theres anything I missed. I forget where we left off...American necks are expencive, like around 300.

Alright, sounds good. What do you want to do about the neck? Have me get one? American teles are quite expencive, and the main difference IMO is pickups. There is a different wood but that does not make much of a difference to me.

I gave the bass to a friend and she said she would take it to work and have shipping department sent it, since I was going out of town for a few days. I guess she got in trouble because shipping department got in trouble. Anyway, I get back in town day after tomorrow. If you would like the money back untill then, that's no problem. I feel horrible about all this, because I had figured you were sitting back playing it already.

pass the responsibility of shipping onto someone else. It's irrisponsible and just asking for problems to arise (obviously).

No need to give back the money.

Just ship it when you get back home, and send me a tracking number from whatever carrier you use and we'll be just fine.

Email the tracking number to frederic at midimonkey dot com.

Im getting the box to ship tomorrow, as I just got back in town. I am including a new snakeskin case with the bass to make up for my mistake. Rest assured.
 
Okay Mike, I appreciate you getting back to me.

When you ship it, please email me the tracking number. If I don't get the tracking number by friday, I'll assume your cancelling your ebay account means something and I'll have to work this out through paypal. I hate to be a prick but I'm starting to get a little concerned. A valid tracking number would really help that. The thing is, I want the bass! heh-heh.

Cancelling my ebay account? I feel so shitty about this, and you can take a look at my feedback to see that I have never been late to ship anything. I gave it to a friend to ship, which was a bad idea.
 
Yeah. Last night when I clicked the auction it said "This user is no longer a member". I clicked it just now, and no indication of such is there. Weird.

Anyway, I do understand what happened, and I understand the "shit happens" thing really well. I've made a few mistakes with ebay auctions that I've listed, however I when such a thing happens I break my balls to make it right. You're throwing in a case, that to me is "breaking your balls to make it right".

Just ship the darn thing with a tracking number and we're cool.
