I have a zxt, a zbt, and a 16" Paiste prototype.

Check out Saluda cymbals. He's an American, imports the blanks from Turkey and China, and hammers and lathes them here. They get rave reviews on drummerworld, and he will modify his stock cymabls to your taste if you give him a detailed description of the sound you want.

Also, he will take any name-brand cymbals in trade, including your lower-end Zildjians. Some guy got about 14 cymbals for under $300, trading in 1:1. The retail prices are great, around $100-200 per 18-20" depending on the model.

Edit: he is blowing out some of his older, inked-logo (all the new ones have etched logos) cymbals for really short money on his eBay account.
