I've no ftp or knowledge on how to use ftp...
Anyone know how or where I can post my rough mix in the meantime?

Nay worry...
I downloaded SmartFTP... It's pretty easy to use... It's on it's way up...
I'm on Dial-Up so it'll take a while but here's the link anyway...



I'd love some feedback...
There's a couple spots in the vocals where the Reverb is a bit too evident...
I know that much. I went a different route with the Kick so...
Anyways... I can take whatever you got :)

I might need a return favor from someone.
I can't get my ftp to transfer my mix to NL5 server.
I posted it here from my web page so if someone would be so kind as to download it and load it back to NL5 that would be awesome.

Fin - can you elaborate on what you mean by "no changing the material"?

Adding reverb is technically changing the material :) I guess I want to know where the boundary is here, before I submit my finished mix.

Well, you cant take my snare out and replace it with... saaayyyy.......a fart recorded with a 6000 dollar condenser. As great as that fart may sound, id have to say NO because that would be (drum roll please) "CHANGING THE MATERIAL" :) .

LOL, reVeRB!? Add all the effects youd like duder, thats not altering in my book.

Just took a quick listen and to me it sounds like your vocal track is not lined up properly with the rest of the tracks. Is that possible?

Other than that I might bring the overheads down a little bit.

I processed the vocals separately so they might be a fraction off... Doh!!!

I've actually gotten the vocals done a bit better now...
Haven't had a chance to add them back in yet...

Hmm vox track was about a quarter second late my man....
Wonder how that happened??? :confused:
Over all it was good sounding though.
Maybe a little verb on the snare would friendly it up a bit.
