Great Idea! it actually works pretty well and even better on a not so crowded forum like this one.
I will be part on this whenever i have something nice to give and get

...Yes!...a little bit more "good karma" is always welcomed!...great idea... ;)

I'll start this off. I have a set of Hosa TRS interconnect cables 5' long I bought them about two months ago and it was not right for my application. Free for the taking. The first to PM me gets it. You pay shipping. It's that simple.
:):):)

When you say a set, do you mean two?

And great idea, btw. I've got a couple of things laying around that I haven't used in a long time. One of them is still in the box and never used. Someone might as well benifit from my stupid purchase. :)

Define Junk...alot of stuff I have here works perfectly...but its junk I wouldnt have in my signal path.

If it's just two TRS cables, I don't need it. If it's a snake, I'll take it.

Sorry, I should have been more descriptive. I meant a set being two TRS cables. I only paid about $13.00 for them but for free they work even better.

In this case I would define junk as being broken. As I have learned form people on the forum (for example) a Sure SM57 is junk, while others insist they are the best. I guess on the other hand, if an item is broken but can be fixed easy enough it could be a part of this thread, such as, a Tascam 52 needing a fuse and pinch rollers and you wish not to have it fixed you know someone might want this item ETC ETC

SM57's kick ass. Not only can they be used passably well on damned near anything (and exceptionally well on a good number of things), they also double as a serviceable-enough hammer for those mid-session studio repairs. :D

Hell, if anyone REALLY hates theirs, I've only got one and wouldn't mind a couple more. :D

I guess people hate free stuff. Oh well.

No... it's just that like you nobody needs a set of Hosa TRS interconnect cables at this time. If anyone else has free stuff to give away go ahead and post it up. You don't have to take turns and post one item at a time. That's why they call it a "free for all". :D

Personally I'd be pleased with a couple of TRS cables and even more pleased in the way I'd come by them - that is via a PIF forum - but it'd be cheaper for me to buy them new than pay for postage to downunder.
Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it and your generosity.

...and in my case I just don't have that much stuff, and I've already given away most of what I don't use (a Johnson J-Station to a buddy of mine up in Canada who had to sell his rig, a M-Audio Firewire 410 to my uncle who first got me started on guitar over a decade ago, to help get him started recording, a spare mic I never really seemed to use for my sister's school for a recording class they were starting, etc).

I'd love to help start this off, but barring the Mesa Rectoverb combo sitting in my hallway (one, which would be prohibitively expensive to ship, and two, which I do need to sell to pay down the equivalent balance on my credit card I picked up when I bought my new amp) I just don't have anything to give away over the 'net right now. :/

I've got a patch bay I'll give away, only if you need one, don't take it just because you can.

^I'D Love to A/B the perception100 with my SP B1!!...but im in Australia...

I wouldn't mind another AKG Perception 100. It's a great mic but in all honesty, I can afford to buy one if I want it.
I do have a Lexicon LXP-1 though if anyone wants it.

I just gave away a Yorkville MP8, 2 100 Watt speakers and cables on Saturday to a some folks who needed it though.
Great Karma/Lousy Timing. :)

Good thread, D.A.

Edit:
Forgot about the Traynor, 16 Ohm, 50 Watt stage monitor but it would cost a lot to ship.
I'm on Vancouver Island.

That was quick.
Looks like the Lexicon is headed for Houston tomorrow.
Maybe I should ask about the AKG.

Not recording equipment but....

I have a black 12" Tama Rockstar rack tom. Missing the top head but lugs and rims are there. Big Kenny helped me out with a patch bay (which I DO desperately need) so that inspired me to throw something on the table as well....If ya need it (I'll be watching ebay real close!!!:D) it's yours.

BTW this is one with the full length lugs.
