I'm happy for that to be changed to "all" since that's the truth.

The thing is, many people (including me sometimes) find the distortion introduced by analogue gear pleasing to the ear. My only quibble is the claim that analogue's virtue is a lack of distortion when all the good bits ARE distortion!

No, they aren't. One is a directed declaration, one is a simile. A simile is commonly defined as a comparison using "like" or "as". I apologize if you took it as me directly calling you a moron. I was simply saying that you are acting like one. That doesn't mean you are one. I can dress like Superman and act like him. That doesn't make me Superman.
