Probably started by a flame war that got out of control, TASCAM MAN found himself trapped on the roof of a blazing building.

Luckily for him, the entire moderating staff of HR, plus a few others like Greg_L and Bobbsy were there to help. They found a large blanket and, arranging themselves around the edge, made a tight landing pad for him to jump into. "C'mon!" yelled Jimmy69 "Jump before you burn to death".

"No way" replied TASCAM MAN. "I know you lot--as soon as I jump you'll pull the blanket away and I'll crash to the ground. I'm not jumping until you put the blanket down on the ground so I know you can't move it!".

With some of the cassette based analogue systems, this distortion is even worse than decent reel to reel analogue systems.

However, this doesn't matter. If that distortion is pleasing to your ear (and, hell, I still listen to my old vinyl because I like the sound) then go for it. Just don't claim it's distortion free.

It's not bragging. I'm sharing my excitement of a new toy with like minded people that might think it's cool as well. That you'd see it as "bragging" just confirms what a social miscreant you really are. Jealous much? It's all analog with lots of distortion!

 
And I weren't bragging either in my opening post when I was just sharing my excitement of how clean sounding an analog(tape) recording can be and not for this generation to only relate it to DISTORTION (audible) and expected to hear from other exited analog fans about there CLEAN sounding analog recordings. Now go somewhere else and post YOUR beautiful pics of YOUR Marshall rig.....
