need help, fast

i just got a gibson lp studio. i bought planet waves auto trim tuners, and was just installing them. the existing holes dont match up with the holes of the tuner, which isnt a problem, but the problem is that like 3/4s of the hole lines up. so thers no room to drill a new hole, and the existing one is a little off with the hole of the tuner. what should i do?

I assume your talking about the retaining screws??

In which case the existing holes need to be filled and re drilled.
