MR-8 with MTC sync

If anyone's interested, I tried synching up the MR-8 to drive Cakewalk with MTC and it works great - the signature/tempo map is really easy to set up on the MR-8. At first I think my MIDI interface was tied up by the computer, so it didn't recognize the MR-8 signal, but rebooting everything cleared it up.
 
How do you like DOP? (I still miss Voyetra Sequencer Plus on DOS!) I've never liked Cakewalk and am looking to make a change.

It's got the functions you need, no fancy extras
what it does it do well.
And most of all it's stable.'
I use it with Yamaha UW500
