Outstanding rig frederic!! And by the way, I can't be dislodged from gear slutness. :D

We'll see. I have a lot more gear to take out of the attic and various other places:

excuse me for asking, but do you have virtual speakers? I have looked and looked at this pic and I see no studio monitors.

No problem, ask anything you like! Yes, the monitors aren't installed yet. I made the bottom half of the monitor mounting posts, but haven't made the uppers yet. I was in a rush to get the table welded, and painted, because the weather was starting to get worse and its a huge massive thing, so I had to construct it outside in the driveway. The monitor mounts and various other smaller things I can weld together in the garage on my workbench.

So, that's why you don't see monitors... yet :) They are in the room next door actually...

Tukkis that's beautifull!!!

oh also, i think an admin should sticky this thread.

I'm almost finished building my studio - this will be a one-room deal I built in my garage. I still have the room treatment to do, but the basic structure is in place. It's still a little messy and there's still work to do, but it's liveable now.

LOL I have to clean under the desk - you only see the dust in the picture :)

The second picture is where the recording area will be.

Just starting out. But the learning curve is a lot of fun. There are two mobile rigs apart from this setup.

As I learn more, the system will evolve. But for the moment....this is enough for me to get the braincells around.

Uh, that desk looks IDENTICAL to the one I got the the Guitar Center....

Yeah GC sent me all the pieces, and I built it! ;)

my little set up

So, figured if I posted these, someone might be able to give me some ideas on how to make it a bit nicer? maybe.
anyway, let me know what you think
and yes, the desk is quite high. I built it by chopping the top off of a cheap 'hutch' desk and then screwing a big ass pine door on as the surface. :o

click 'attach files' when you're composing the message, it will work.

the img tags only work if you have the images on a web server, not your local hard drive.
