Well, I just got back from a trip from Portland to San Francisco over the weekend to puck up a deck that I bought.
It is a well maintained MCI JH-110A 1/4" halftrack. This unit can take 14" reels and plays at 7.5, 15 and 30 ips. Heads have low hours on a JRF relap and in general everything appears to work. Just a little dust.
It does have some red sockets.
but they are looking OK. I'll get some time on the machine before I replace them.
This is my first MCI so I'm on the learning curve. I'm looking for a manual, notes, spare parts, 1/2" 2 track heads and rollers
and all the other things that go with a deck. (operations and maintance manuals that is)
Oh yes, and some space to put it on the "studio".
It does have a noisy bearing on the pinch roller so Sweetbeats, where are you buying bearings?
Regards, Ethan
