is there such a thing
as an echoes effects device for a multitracker or is reverb the same thing as echo?sorry for making all the dumb questions but im trying to screw up as little as possible before I buy anything.

there are many devices Ive seen but none has an echo button or switch on it(lol)so I'm presuming reverb maybe is the technical word for echo?will sombody with a kings heart and loads of patience be willing to help this nincompoop soon to be expert?(yeah right-in a million years-lol)
 
Echo and reverb are different effects but they all come under delay effects. In simple terms reverb is nothing but so many echos. Anyway coming to your gear hunting, you wont find a seperate unit for echo, ehco is one of the effects in most of teh multi effect processors, so that is what you have to buy.."MULTI EFFECT PROCESSOR" it has so many effects like echo, delay, flange, reverb, chorus, EQ, Pitch shift......etc. Multi effect Processors come in all prices, depends upon the quality. Look for something that fits your budget.

thats exactly what I did-hopefully when I connect everything together I'll get a half decent sound.:-)
