Eflat Boogie

This one's short.........
3 trax altogether.
There is a spot at 1:12 where it goes into a straight Eflat chord for 12 long bars.....................
If anyone wants to throw something into that space you can PM me or post it here, I will add it to the mix and repost.

Or just listen and rag on me, whatever you like.

Hevy - I can't even RUN that fast! I'm anxious to hear the posts. That's a challenge and a half! Awesome jam, Dan! Stunning guitar acrobatics - love the growl on the rakes! And the bass - please tell me you played that on keys! Sounds awesome!

DUH! OK now I read then entire post and discovered the bass is real - so I'll just go back in my hole now and mope. Maybe I'll take up gardening.

This kinna reminds me of David Wilcox's "Hypnotizing Boogie" only you play much better and faster then him! Wicked!:D

What's that distortion on the hats? Is that intensional?

what a fun ride :D ....I'll give it a go but you'll have to give me a while to get my fingers goin' that fast again ;) ....sounds like it would be fun to get submissions from different players if you're open to that...cool challenge!

Don't mind the parts I was soloing over prior to your requested region- I was just getting warmed up- and I was flubbin' hard until I got that POD WAILING toward the end of the plain Eb area.

I have the original track in 24/44.1.

I owe you.

I have ALWAYS wanted a clean, simple, blues boogie to create over with violin, viola and cello.

I learned to cut my blues teeth in clubs in Baton Rouge playing along with, and sometimes stretching out with bands who would play JUST LIKE THIS.

This is clean, this is simple, this is precise ... this is good.

PLEASE, post this in the songwriter's forum and invite folks to write lyrics and sing over it.

I am having an inspiration as I sit here and listen to this.

Recall, the 'call and response' method used when a band member plays , and in response, the band leader says something to the effect .... "yeah, that's the gitar" ...

and then the drum takes a ride ... the band leader says ... 'yeah, them's the skins baby"


the bass player takes a pitch ... the band leader says ... "yeah, dig that bass man"

the sax player toots 15 bars ... the band leader says ... "sax man, sax man ... yeah !"

I think I am going to do this, over this tune with violin, viola and cello ... and I really already have in my mind ... and it WAS A BLAST !

Hevy, I love those little guitar breaks in between the verses - sometimes, it's like you're falling and then you land on your feet each time LOL. So...is your life like that often? LOL

Commander Cody would eat this one up. Son, you're gonna drive me to drinkin if you don't stop *** that hot...rod...lincoln.

just for the record, those drums are very bad. the highat hits my ears like a razor blade LOL.

I think this would sound better without the drums.

you know what? can you post something without the drums? i'd like to take a whack. if ya don't mind. i love playing to this stuff.

very good guitar work. That style of boogie with the quick open string slap is very hard to pull off convincingly....but you did a great job bro

No standing still on this track, love the buildup at 1:15. I can see this going off the map at 1AM in a club.
