I posted about a playback problem and it has many views but no replies. Is it ok to copy paste to other catagories in hopes of getting help?

Ehhhh it's usually frowned on....I see you posted your last one in the Newbie section. Maybe just give it a bump and see if anyone responds? It says it's only been up for a day, so it might just take some time. I've had threads like that that have taken 2-3 days to get off the ground.

Thanx. I'm glad I asked. I'll work on my patience.

If you don't get a response in the next few days, just re-post it where you see fit. Or, you could click the "report" button (triangle with an exclamation point in it) and just write that you would like it moved to ________.

That annoys the hell out of me and makes me less likely to reply. If you don't get a reply right away, that just means someone who knows the answer hasn't come along yet. All of the active posters drop in at least once a week, so you'll most likely get an answer within that time frame.

Be advised that if your question is about a new piece of gear that few people own or have used, you may wait longer than if it's a general question about technique or whatever.

I see you're getting some replies in your original thread. Congrats :)
