True, I didn't think about that. HAHAHA You also could do something like....nah I'll say that when I'm off work....don't wanna get fired.
 
And when you finaly agree on the killer name you WILL do a Google search for it to make sure some other band didn't get there first...won't you?

Not like some covers band at the other end of England who have chosen to use the same name as a covers band I play in, despite the fact that we come up as the top search in Google and have been on the secene for 5 years!

I mean it doesn't take much effort, really.

How about "Copyright Infringement" who knows...then maybe you could copyright that term.

Even if you can't think of a name now, it will come to you. Just listen for it when you or someone else is talking. The perfect phrase will come up sooner or later.
 
i always liked, "disposable heroes", but i think thats taken.
when i was in a group, we all got out dictionaries, and flipped to random pages, read off the word, and tried to form something.
 
Unbelievable responses y'all....we'll have our first gig in a couple of weeks (hopefully) so we're on a tight timeline for coming up with something cool.

Once we come up with something, I'll google it to see if someone else is using it. I've done that before on potential names and it's amazing what is already taken. I swear I could run a search on the Chicken Butt Bobble Heads and some garage band in Iowa would already be using it ;)

We actually thought about using the Boo Radleys but that is already taken.
