I was curious about your experiences with bass DI boxes. I know there are $600 ones such as the Demeter VTDB-2B Tube Direct Box And even cheap ones such as the Hartke VXL Bass Attack Pedal and Direct Box but I wanted to know what kind of ups and downs any of you have faced with any Bass DI box...

I just wanted to know if Protools will work with the delta1010, 66 or 44. I really don't want the MBox or the digi001 or 002. Anyone know if this is possible?

Is the RNP THAT much of a step above? I want a better pre, but i don't know what to get. Any suggestions?

how much of a problem do you people have when you record, lets say, acoustic drums and you mute everything but the kick to begin mixing in the bass? Do you hear too much or nothing of the rest of the kit? lets say you want to eq your snare, but you hear too much hi-hat in the snare mic no matter...

What headphones do you guys like for the least amount of leakage when droppin' vocals? I have 2 pairs of sony mdr-v700's and a few misc. other cheapo's, But I was looking into buying new cans that REALLY supress leakage. Thanks

This is being sold in packages with the 603. Is it any good? Or worth getting one just to see what it sounds like? It's pretty cheap, and i'd get another 603, on top of my 2 ksm109's and sp-c1. Anyone used the mxl2003? good or not? worth it or not? Thanks

I've got a behringer mx802a, and an m-audio DMP3. and a Fostex MR8. along with a bunch of other shit. I want to know what I will need to start recording to computer. My mr8 is pissin me off because My DMP3 is useless with it. I can't get around the MR8's pre's. But aside from that, my computer...

So I was using my DMP3 into a Behringer mx802a mixer via (bal)1/4"-to-XLR cables. And (unbal)1/4"-to-1/4" into a fostex MR8's 1/4" (unbal) ins. I was told that I should use the 1/4" jacks in the mixer or even better the mr8 to bypass the pre amps. Is this true? Do I have to use the 1/4" jacks on...
