Hi people I've just got an RME fireface 800. I am having some troubles with it though. On cubase I can hear it when I playback the track, but I cant monitor the guitar as I play it, I have ticked the "enable direct monitoring" box. I also cant seem to record, what shall I do? Kind Regards J

I currently have a Tascam US-122L I am pleased with it but I want to upgrade to a rack mounted interface. I only need 1 Channel really as I work alone. Can people reccomend a good rack mounted Interface?

I am thinking of adding a rack mount noise gate unit, and i've heard this is the best one. Does anyone else have it? Is it good?, are there alternatives I should check out? Is it worth the money? Cheers

Hi I am wondering what rackmounted unit would be good to improve my guitar recordings. Using Mesa Boogie head n cab micd with SM57 into external soundcard. Would it be a mic pre, are there any suggestions?

So far im recording Mesa boogie cab with SM57, what rack mountable effects units are good for compression, would this be something that the sm57 would be plugged into before it reaches the soundcard, likea mic pre? Any suggestions?

Hello, ive bought an avalon U5 for DI bass recording and I was wondering how I get the best out of it connections wise. Do i need an anologue to digital converter or something, or is it fine just to connect the U5 strait into the computer
