I assume you sent the .wav file to the laptop because the first PC is not on the internet? If so how? I would put the files on a usb stick. What dd you play the bounced files with? If you used another instance of Samplitude where did the signals come on the meters? Should be exactly the same as the originals.Dave can help me with exporting? I want to export audio tracks to my laptop and then send them to a few people by email. I did one by going to file/export/wav...and it went to me docoments. but 2 things 1. when i played the piece on windows media player or vlc it was very soft with all vol controls on max 2. my email would not attach it. got as far as "uploading" but never actaully did it.
Re attaching files: This can only be done if they are about 20Mb or less (and the "process" adds a Mb or so) . You could convert them to MP3 as there is a very good converter in Sam or you could use the built in "cloud" system. I have not done that yet so let me know how it goes!
BTW. There is almost no danger in having internet capability on a music computer these days. Just have a copper, not wireless connection and use Msoft SE anti-virus. Set automatic updates to "ask me first" then only plug into the network when you need to, i.e. 0.001% of the time!
