I have a budget of around $400 for a microphone or two. I'm looking for an upgrade from my Samson c01.
My question is, if I'm going to be primarily recording vocals (kind of like rocky votolato vocals if you've ever heard of him) and acoustic guitar (and other stringed instruments, but primarily acoustic guitar), should I try to find a $400 mic that does both or will I receive better results from two $200 mics that focus on each aspect.
For whichever you guys think is best, can you recommend some mics too?
