Got the Trio+ to improve guitar skills. I’m a late bloomer boomer and I know bupkis about any of this.

What other gear do I need? Mixer, amp, monitors, software? I’ll probably want enough memory to save a lot.
Will probably want vocals at some point.

Just need a push in the right direction.

I'm not sure what you're looking to do. If you're wanting to do recording, there are dozens of threads in the Newbie section that address that issue. A computer, interface, DAW, headphones, monitors and a microphone are the basics.

If you're looking to use the Trio just to practice guitar skills, then you just need an amp and a guitar. The Trio is a bit like the old Wurlitzer organs where you hit a button to get a bossa nova beat and when you press a note, it gives you a chord. The difference is that computers have gotten powerful enough to "learn" what you're playing.

As for storing stuff in the Trio, you just need a few SD cards, 16 or 32GB Class 10 cards are good. The Trio records your playing and songs on SD cards. I would recommend Sandisk Extremes, they are reliable. Some generic brands can be glitchy.

If you don't know how to use the Trio, then you probably need to dive into the manual. I haven't seen anyone here mention using one.
