Pearl only puts a mount through the toms if it's the Forum kits. The rest are ISS or Optimounts...all kicks have tom mounts until you hit Masters, unless you special order without one for a Session, if I remember correctly.

Anyway I have:
- A really crappy "Procussion" set. Like a Westbury set. Had it for years.
- I use a 14" Dixon maple piccolo as my main snare, because the metal one that came with my set is god awful.

Cymbals:
14" AAX Stage Hats
16" AAX Stage Crash
20" AAX Stage Ride
18" AAX Dark Crash
7" 9" & 11" Sabian Sig. Max Splash

I have random pieces of percussion...a mounted cowbell, a hi hat mounted tambourine I never really use, a handheld tambourine, some shakers, etc.

Mics:
2x ECM8000's
1 Shure SM57
1 Shure PG48

I, uh, haven't gotten around to buying decent mics for a while, can you tell?

Tama set. Burgundy. Rockstar late 80's early 90's?
Singerland piccalo and Cheap Pearl stnd. snare. (Which I need to upgrade.)
Zildjian A custom Cymbals, HH, Swish, Ping ride, and this killer little sabian china splash... "pish!"
Remo heads (clear and coated CS)
DW dbl pedal

Also, saving up to buy the upside down cage that tommy lee used on tour, if it get sold on eBay. Hopefully, with better seat belts.

But now, for songwriting, I'm using Fruity Loops (FL Sudio) for drums. Which is pretty fun. Damn, I've crossed over to the evil side of electronics. What the hell happened!

LOL!!! No that was them in my downstairs den while I was just futzing around with my Firebox when I first got it. The family was out for the day so I thought I'd fool around a bit.

Here's a combo of the Mapex kit with the Ludwig kit, set up with the infamous 3 mic technique that I've quickly grown to love. This room actually is semi-soundproofed, it used to be a band rehearsal room before the kids... :sigh:
