Practical Cat
I just inherited a Tascam M-30. Circa 1985. It's Teac's old 8/4 mixer intended for their home/demo recording stuff.

Sometimes there's a peculiar trait that makes an old dog like this useful for something. Anybody know anything like that about the M-30? Or what is an extra mixer useful for in a home studio?

While you wise ones are at it. What might be some older stuff we ought to get our hands on while we can?

the Tascam mixer should do fine for non-critical stuff...or submixing stuff like keys, drums, etc.

As far as other older stuff to get your hands on....my 52 year old brunette wife is the cats meow....and taken!!
