After two guitar gurus and I took it apart I think the only thing that may be real on that strat is the neckplate. I am not even sure if is a fender.

Ouch! What gives?

The electronics are definitely not old, cant tell if they are fender. The mark on the heel of the neck does not appear to be a fender mark. The logo on the neck appears to be a decal over the finish. There is a hole in the neck pocket for adjusting the neck angle but no access in for it in the neck plate. The neck has far to little wear for it to match the age that the neck plate serial number says it should be. The bridge saddles say "revival" on them instead of Fender pat. pending. The back tremolo cover plate is new and says Japan on it. A standard fender tremolo bar does not fit.
