Holy screeching brightness batman! That's pretty ear piercingly brittle. Try it with a better speaker or an actual cab.
I thought the speaker was the whole point.

Well homeboy is forced to use, in my opinion, one of the worst speakers out there - the K100. He has to use it because it's one of the few reasonable priced readily available guitar speakers that can handle 100 watts all by itself. Then he takes that naturally harsh and shrill speaker, IMO, and puts it in a drum shell full of foam, carpet, and a pillow which does nothing but isolate the speaker even further which kills all of it's bass response, and makes it stiff and even more harsh and shrill. I'm not trying to re-open this can of worms, but there's a reason speakers are typically put into large air-filled enclosures and not just crammed into the tiniest package possible.
Lol! No, let's be real here, please. You might like it, and that's fine if that's your personal taste, but the reality is that it's one of the few 100w speakers that's readily available and can dependably be used in your single-speaker design. And, that speaker is the cliche typical "metal" speaker. Win/win for you. Nevermind that you can't use other better sounding speakers because they will blow out if pushed by a high watt amp. Your potential customers are forced to use that nasally harsh speaker, or use a lower wattage amp with a better sounding speaker. Ugh.THE K100 is the best speaker for lead tone...
the sustain is unmatched...
but how about them screaming harmonics...

Yeah, my poor ears were screaming for mercy.
here is a lead sample...
I did this today..!!!
the verb and delay is personal taste
Wow, I feel like I'm back in the '80s!
I can't really tell enough about the klops because of the effects. If you were demonstrating your effects chain or your playing or something, cool, but imo they are masking the signal. Could you post something with a little less OD and no effects, maybe some chunky rhythm lines or something? That is what I would want to hear if I was a prospective buyer.
hahaha
I am Dahlia ..the last of the 80's players....
so I will always sound 80's ..but I will try to lay down sum numetal rhythm tones...soon...but I understand..you guys have to only go by pics and waves..so I am going to have to have waves for every guitar style...
I already posted with the vintage 30 and I did 2 Namm 's with the 75 and the vintage 30..I never done a Namm with the k100's
this is my 1st year and I am going do use 4 k100's ...so I think your just blowing smoke!!
I think the vintage 30 is 30 watts hehe
Slow down there, slick. My studio doesn't even have a computer in it, I rarely use this computer to look at graphs, and I'm also an '80s guitarist. If you're glued to an '80s sound, post up the riffs to Cinderella's Shake Me and Whitesnake Slide It In sans the effects. Those should be good rock tones to demo your product.
I'm blowing smoke? Lol. Says the guy getting cheap POD fuzz and harshness from a real amp. Way to go!
And you managed to make it sound like thin ass. Well done.um the 6262 Inf is a 600.00 tube amp that is great for any style of sound......that makes it 1 of the best amps for your buck you can find..
And you managed to make it sound like thin ass. Well done.![]()
Anyway, kudos for standing up for what you believe, no matter how factually incorrect, ridiculous, and asinine it may be.
oh crap..I should of said all Original 80's....lol
Same here. Well, after playing in several cover bands prior to. Post up some of your own riffs, fine, just don't drown them in effects so we can hear your product.
