the most ugly guitar in the world

there used to be a pink paisley and decorative telecaster at Guitar Center in mpls..

that guitar looked liked it belonged in a 1966 band...preferably shot in black and white.

on the downside...any guitar that prince has played is pretty fucking ugly..

I read a story where Eddie VH had an Ibanez Destroyer and he had some guy take a chain saw and cut it into the shape of a serpent eating a snake or something like that...so, hey to each his own. I stick to a Strat or Tele myself.
 
Have you seen the Burns guitar in the latest Musician's Friend catalog? They're fairly ugly, but I kind of like them because they look different.

those star wars guitars are cool, the darth vader and stormtrooper ones the other ones are ugly but those
"STAR WARS" inlays ruin them.
 
..........anybody seen an ovation viper? ...they came out in the early/mid 80's......... .........kind of a flacid looking cross between a tele and a les paul. .......and "The" worst sounding guitar for rock music known to man!!!!

Jimi Hendrix playing guitars upside down is cool but I just cannot stand those guitars with upside down headstocks. .... Errgkk those Squier Stagemasters !!!

Yeah I hate that too. Jacksons are cool but they put those friggin upsidown headstocks on a lot of them...what the fuck is up with that??

C'mon, the site even says these are for the 'discriminating' player, and that they're even 'innovative'! :D

Yeah, that red POS dragon thingy looked like maybe it had been a Fisher-Price guitar that some guy took down to the steelmill one day to show his buddies, and maybe left it too close to the blast furnace. But...at least whoever built it had a sense of humor.

On the other hand, the 'outhouse door guitar' looks like it was 'engineered' from water-damaged Telecaster drawings and the nearest available kitchen cutting board. Egad man--you don't know whether to play it or start slicing cheese on it.

I love the way Parkers look, play and sound. I've owned two of 'em.
And plan to buy more :)

Their basses are very ugly though.

they're one of those guitars that don't come off well in pictures. When I saw one in person I was very surprised at how good it actually looked. In pics I had found it ugly but not in person.
Another one like that is my Zak Wilde Les Paul. In pictures I thought it looked stupid but when I went into a store with the wifey and happened upon one, we were both shocked really. It's a FINE looking git in person.
