I'm looking for mix advice: relative levels, EQ, compression, anything glaring, etc. Thank you in advance.:-)

This is all humans playing real instruments - :thumbs up: The vocals, drums, and bass were all crudely recorded about 15 years ago, iirc:

Vocals - Stephanie Fitzgerald (first gen. AKG C1000)
Drums - Bill Lynch
Bass - Kent Glasby
Keyboards/B3 - me
Guitars - me

This is the track that I talked about here. It had/has some serious issues with the drum and bass gtr performance, in particular - timing stuff. I fixed most of the egregious bass gtr issues - and spent a lot of time on the drums (you might have seen my post about using stretch markers in Reaper) - but in the end I decided to leave the drums untouched - warts and all, no edits whatsoever. There's an edit to the guitar part that sticks out - but probably only to me. I won't point it out.

But yeah... I'm interested how this mix translates on other's playback systems.

The vocal sound is nice and clear. I didn't really catch the mistakes you're talking about.

Snare sound is decent. The kick gets covered by the bass guitar to an extent. Cymbals have a "sterile" sound to them.

The bass has a ton of low end that makes it sound rumbly.

The guitar sounds are a bit brittle, at times thin, and twangy. A ton of mid-2Ks.

Thanks - with your feedback and other's elsewhere - ima work on this and bring it back later.
