(**I've pulled this one to work on it some more)
I'm looking for mix advice: relative levels, EQ, compression, anything glaring, etc. Thank you in advance.
This is all humans playing real instruments -
The vocals, drums, and bass were all crudely recorded about 15 years ago, iirc:
Vocals - Stephanie Fitzgerald (first gen. AKG C1000)
Drums - Bill Lynch
Bass - Kent Glasby
Keyboards/B3 - me
Guitars - me
This is the track that I talked about here. It had/has some serious issues with the drum and bass gtr performance, in particular - timing stuff. I fixed most of the egregious bass gtr issues - and spent a lot of time on the drums (you might have seen my post about using stretch markers in Reaper) - but in the end I decided to leave the drums untouched - warts and all, no edits whatsoever. There's an edit to the guitar part that sticks out - but probably only to me. I won't point it out.
But yeah... I'm interested how this mix translates on other's playback systems.
