Sonar Sync problem???

I have Sonar connected to a datasync2 box together with a Alesis
XXXL20 and a Fostex D-90. But when I try to record into Sonar in sync with the other two machiens Sonar freezes-up and will not responed?? does anyone knows of some different setting to stop this from happening?????

Are you using something like word clock to sync the digital sample signal and something like Midi Time Code to sync the timing? If you are, just make sure the only one for each type of sync is set to be the master... it sound stupid, but make sure that ins and outs are correct (cursed a system for hours before I figure out I had a midi in connected to a midi in)... make sure the syncs are set to the same rate (digital sync to same bit rate and sampling rate... midi to [usually] 30 frame non-drop). Sonar sync?

I foregot to inform you that I also have a Midiman USB 4x4 included inthis set-up. I checked all input's and output's, but I maybe I need to add the midiman into it as well???

I have had problems with Sonar's midi sync 2. It does not recognize mtc from my Akai MPC correctly. It will start and track from the beginning of the song but will not start at any given time in a song correctly? You should, if you haven't already e-mail cakewalk...

Thank's, and you are right I did e-mail them last Friday. They sent me a e-mail today on how to solve the problem.
