...happier than you.
So... in n-Track, I've got three choices for 24-bit recording.

24 bit
24 bit unpacked
24 bit unpacked left-justified

(or something like that)

Which am I supposed to use??? (And why??)

One thing to note: When I first set up n-Track, I was having some horrible instability and I found that by setting it to "24 bit left-justified" that the problems went away. Is that where I should keep it, or am I not supposed to use left justified?

Yeah, just use the one that works! You're doing it right!

LOL.. is that how it works...?? just mess with it till you're happy... :D

How the incoming bitstream will be formatted is dependent upon your soundcard and drivers. So yeah, you just set n-Track to match it (e.g., whichever format works). Usually only one format will work properly.

If I set my n-track to record at 24bit then it freezes... Maybe I just got a bad n-track copy. Haha.

I have a Delta 44 and I set it to 24 bit unpacked left justified. That appears to be the most stable setting... haven't had any problems at all since I set it to that.
