Here's my rough mix not my final.
. I think this one is pretty close, but there's probably a few changes I'm going to make before I put up my final. Let me know what you guys think! (it imported fine for me, however lots of the tracks were really quiet. Also my piano was just a mono file, same for the Rhodes. No big deal, I don't think it even matters for my mix though.)

right....

I grabed mine about 17 hours ago from NL5. All mono files. IS this right ar were things tracked in stereo?

Sorry, the ones from me were wrong, and I think geet got his from me as well. Raw tracks are good, but won't import. I've got the CORRECT files uploading. This has been kind of a disaster starting out, but the files are well worth it - all together different kind of thing from the other contests.

I finally got a chance to import the files into my Cubase VST5 rig. They work absolutely fine. I am stumped as to why some people are having problems. I would be willing to bet, most of the people having problems are running newer version software and newer hardware than what I'm using:

PIII-933mHz
448mb Ram
Windows 98se
Cubase VST 5

I think at this point, I am just going to leave the tracks on my site, as is. They seem to work for most people. These are the original tracks in WAV format. Giles uploaded them himself to my server. And yes, some of them are stereo. I don't doubt that there is some meta-data that may be throwing some configurations off, but it has got to be due to some software setting.

Hi, I left off yesterday and it seems that there has been much troubleshooting done.
I had trouble loading in sonar and audition (crashe audition and wouldn't open in sonar)

Now, what is the address (server) where I could download compatible files with sonar?

thx guys

thx for the link NL5,

it's extremely fast (at least compared to Bryan's server :P hhihihi)

If your Piano, Rhodes and heaven Pad are Mono it is a problem ;) Stereo files are crucial to this song :)

Some very interesting 1st attempts :)

BTW those feeling HP challenged, I mixed this song last year on an 800Mhz G4 with DP 3.11

Ok Judges are shaping up. Vestast and Raw-Tracks have honored me with their services. :)

Thnaks Guys. I need one more Judge. I am so close to this song my judging would not be objective. I know exactly what the song should sound like so I'd be overly Biased. :)

Have Fun Guys. Let the musicians in you come out and play. Interpretation is very important. :)

Sweet, 1.43 MB/sec (downloaded the big zip in just over 4 minutes). Looking forward to checking this one out...

Looks like a BUNCH of people re-downloaded (or downloaded for the first time) the new files off my server last night. Just to make sure everybody is on a level playing field You should have over half the tracks as stereo tracks. If you don't, please re-download from -

Let me know if anyone is having troubles with the new files.

Thanks,
