This question is for Nik D,
Did you trigger the drums with other drum samples? I was curious because I lined your mix up with the original tracks and there are several instances where there is a tom hit in the original, and it's a snare hit on yours. Since the toms bled into the snare mic (at practically the same volume as the snare lol), I'm guessing it just triggered the tom hit as a snare snare hit... (?) Also, if you did trigger them, did you replace the drums entirely or mix them together? I think I still hear a faint sound of the original crash cymbals (bleed from the snare mic?)...
BTW, I haven't read all 10 pages of these replies, so I appologize if this have already been answered!
I think I like your mix the best out of the few that I've listened too.... Great job!
