Heres a couple of songs I wrote. I like RS 4.1, but I don't think that anyone else does. Alot of people seem to like SDFO. I apologize that the songs don't have lyrics and that drums are programmed on a drum machine. I can neither sing nor drum. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

I didn't like RS 4.1. I think it was repeating over and over. SDFO was better but tended to do the same in many parts, however the first 1--15 seconds of the song I liked because it was soothing at first, took me somewhere, the rest of the song took me somewhere I didn't want to be. But keep plugging away and don't give up. I've had people tell me my songs were crap but I keep trying. Anyway, I did listen to them. PS, The drum machine is ok, don't worry about that.

Thanks

Greg

I did like both of your songs..I think you have a gift...sure it needs some perfecting....but whom of us does not...And having to be songwriter,musician,sound-engineer,that really takes serious intentions.I commend you for that..A lot of hard, frustrating work too.. voted you hot on soundclick...most of the songs have crappy 'sound'..but yours was a lot better ..what did you use..mics and such? And I liked RS 4 1 the best..yeah.. lot of repetition..???....repetition........................repe...ti..tion..........
Geeeeeze, I thought that was what a song was..a bunch of repetitious modified noise... :eek:But who am I to critic?..A self-taught-self-fired-vocalist-no -clue-to-what -I-am-doing-geetarist-of-the-deepest-fantasies-of-my-mind..(be thankful they are not in YOUR mind)..I can play 'Chopstiks' on the drums ... :D Anyway,I look forward to hearing of your success story..Just don't let it take you from the 'Heart' of your music...Keep an individuality of your own..Even if it is your 'Repetitiousness'.. ;) God bless..eurt...

I used a Boss BR-532 4-track, and direct input with a Digitech RP-12. A fender guitar, and a ibanez bass (RS 4.1 i used the on board digital bass effect with my fender cause I didn't have my bass with me.) The drums are the on board drum machine of the boss. I used soundforge to transfer the music from my 4 track to mp3 files.
