I recently purchased a Gibson Firebird, and wanted to record something kinda heavy that I would be able to use both it, and my strat on....to get them acquainted I guess
...I was lucky enough to have some free time last weekend, so, after a few beers I decided to try and cover this Queen tune...it's one of there more heavy tunes and its on the News Of The World album.Vocals were rough but after a few drinks...they were fun to do at least...any mix /arrangement comments are welcome as using the Gibson is a entirely different animal for my guitar sound and I'm trying to capture it well in my recordings.I have posted a link for both streaming or download...as soundclick seems pretty flakey these days.
Thanks!

, seriously cool vox man.
.
, I absolutely love those 1st three albums, and would l really dig covering something like Liar, 7 seas of Rhye, or Now I'm Here.. I guess with "sheer Heart Attack" (the song) ,I was more comfortable singing, as it is a Roger Taylor sung tune(in the studio anyways),and kinda has a punk/metal feel to it that I could butcher my own way vocally.
