Thanks Captain Slip, new but feared member of our pirate crew :cool: Just having fun here, it's great to just forget about any "rules" in music and just mess around recording demos. You never know what you'll end up with. Thanks for checking it out, appreciate it ;) AAAARRRRGHHHH!!!!!

Boy this is different. Drums are sounding real good. Kind of chaotic melody-wise. I like the vocals, kind of remind me a bit of Richard Hell. Actually after a couple of listens, I can start to see the patterns emerge. This is pretty cool

Freudian Slip - I've heard stories from the sea that RAMI actually has a drum stick as a hand, but paints it silver so that it'd still look like a hook and pass off as looking tough

Bullshit - thanks for checking it out, yeah my writing style is a little out there, I tend to use the music as something to follow a story more than normal structure. Both you and RayC brought up Richard Hell, I haven't heard him though, any recommendations on something of his to check out? I'm curious

This is a party within a song. :cool: A Pirate party. Really great bass sound. Rami's playing is pro all the way. The guitars sound kind of upper mid-y to me but I like mellow gtrs, what can I say.. except Arrrrrrrrrrg, the playin' be fine. No need to walk you off'n the plank t'day matie, arrrrrggh :D

Tim - ARRGGH Tim Sparrow, thanks for joining ye here crew, I will not walk the plank with the rum because True will be waiting in the water below and she means buisness, pirate buisness. I'll do a final mix on this, I hear what you mean on the electric guitars, I EQed them to fit the chorus vocals better, but when I listen back they lost a little of their bite in other parts. So I'll just EQ them like that for the chorus part. AARRGH :D
 
listening while typing and staring at pictures of pirates. drums sound great. Hey these vox are great! Very clear and up front. Especially for the stuff ive heard by you thus far. Lyrics get me thinking as always usual. Loving 1:45, almost wished that repeated one more time but tis ok i have the power to rewind. Didn't mention the guitars, i always mention them first so i'll say i love them last this time. Gotta change it up. Great song man, very cool vibe.

Hey Gary, to begin, AARRRGGGHHHH!! Glad you are a pinnacle now in our pirate adventure to take down the beast. Well when I'm responding to you I'm listening again for the first time in a few days. I'm pretty happy with everything except electric guitar EQ settings, I'll probably try to get a final mix tonight (although the rum has taken effect, but what can I say, it's very fitting since this song was written with the rum :D )
I only post songs with DEEP lyrics :D :p
I would extend 1:45 but RAMI's drum track somehow says no, don't have the option this time unless I do some crazy cut and pasting. Well maybe I'll do that...
Anyway, thanks Gary and to everyone who listened, you are true pirates. I'll put a final mix up real soon in case there's anyone who wants to keep this mp3 around.
