Yeah, well, I've got bigger plans for the future. But i just wanna start off small to get my business as a whole off the ground.andycerrone said:You say that now. See where you are in 5 years, and report back..![]()

I will be offering:
PA Hire
Promotions
Record Label
Studio
roadie
tutoring
instruments for sale
and anything else i can think of.
i play drums so can teach them, and have friends who play other instruments so can employ them to tutor.
I use thomann, everything is so cheap, so il buy from them and then sell on, with bonus' like free tutoring etc.
i have a van so can roadie
building the studio
Labels are easy
as are promotions(just need a good head for it)
n im building on my pa.
Big plans, with a goal to upgrade everything as the business takes off.
I know I'm planning a lot. But i figure i can do itandycerrone said:Good luck. Keep in mind, it's easier said than done. Trust me, I've done a little of all of those. On top of that, I've booked tours, which is one of the hardest things ever. They're all seperately full time jobs if you have just 2 or 3 bands, you're planning a lot for just yourself..

PA hire will be simple. Studio also. roadie too. tutoring and instruments too. Obv not easy, but i know i can do them.
The other 2 I'm learning about, so I'll give them a bash.
And touring sounds fun. I planned to do that for a college project, but i had to rely on others to get the college label to the stage where we could tour, and as usual... now im restricted to a couple of local gigs at most.![]()
Anyway, I'll give touring a bash with my own label, once i get it off the ground. I'm gonna just try with one or maybe two bands at first.
pandamonk said:Why all the wall you have? Could you take a pic from further out so we can see the room? Ohh and if that's all the room you have(allowed) then, i hate to say this but, why not turn the desk diagonally so you atleast have better stereo imaging. And then add a bass trap in the corner to help with the bass problems you must have.
Yeah, well I'm starting with PA hire to be honest. Then I'll try some others. I'm selling instruments for xmas tho.andycerrone said:Once again, it's easier than done. I'd plan on one of those things, and have it grow. If you get it running well, and keeping busy, and think you can get another one going, go for it. Don't try pushing all of thema tonce or you'll never get it going.
What creamyapples said, and also, bass builds up in corners, and you're right in a corner. Especially your left speaker.Monkey Allen said:A split hair outside the right edge of the photo is my bed unfortunately. Diagonal won't give me any room. Don't bite my head of, I'm a noob at room config, but how do you know I have bass problems?
thanks

Well, I buy all my equipment etc from a german company called thomann. Everything is really cheap, with free shipping on orders over £135.andycerrone said:Selling instruments? Do explain..

There are a few companies in the area that sell instruments, and their stuff is way over priced for what you get. So I'm advertising stuff for thomann with 2hr lessons and setup. Like I'm buying a beginners drumkit for £180, with decent cymbals for £85, and selling them for £320 with lessons and setup. The drumkit is a lot better quality, especially with the cymbals, than any from round here selling at £300, plus i set it up and give them a lesson.
