i know this post is really old but i just think that it's funny that you are stereotyping all of my generation...especially since you live in fucking sacremento? of course your going to see some bad shit...if you want to be safe then move...in all my life ive never been a town thats like that except for south dallas, tx and thats not that bad either...so before you stereotype all of us---leave sacremento

Hey Mr. Brilliant....thats EXACTLY what I did...TWO AND A HALF FUCKING YEARS AGO  .....best thing I ever did. BTW asshole, I didn't stereotype anyone. If the damn shoe fits....it fits. Ever been to a juvenile hall or court?...fuck. If you consider what I was talking about YOUR generation, all I can say is a portion of YOUR generation is out of fucking control. PERIOD! Now, if you don't like my opinion, thats too fucking bad.

Looking great and I love your slide show! You certainly payed a lot of attention to details. Awesome, man. The acoustic kit might be a bit of an overkill, but maybe that's just me. Do you also record sounds with mics? (couldn't see a space to record)

Just one silly question: why didn't you consider floating the room by putting the floor on rubber pads?

Give me the measurements and i will cut the pieces and send them from ITALY! :D

I am building a new desk right now as i have sold the Soundtracs and bought a DM-24 as it fits my needs better.

Here's a 3D of how it will look...

hey jumpingflash with what prog did you create this 3d layout? looks awsome. cad?

My Setup

Heres what I work with -- i know its modest hardware-wise compared to a lot of you guys' setups, but youd be surprised how good my songs turn out...

AMD 1400+ 640MB PC w/audiophile 2496
Reason 2.5 (with a boatload of refills!) and Recycle 2.0
Sonar 4 PE
Waves Diamond Bundle
Antares Avox, Autotune, and mic modeler
Sound Forge 7.0
T-Racks

Mackie 1202VLZ mixer
Antares Vocal Producer (that i never even use)
Behringer B2 mic
Audio Technica ATR30 dynamic mic (collecting dust too)

Yamaha DGX500 88 key piano (used mainly for midi control)

Aiwa stereo for monitoring (i already know...but hey my mixes sound great!)

First Act Acoustic Guitar (which Im learning on...sounds good BTW)

The next thing im gonna get is a new mic - the B2 is okay but its always nice to have a choice... -Tino

You can attach another monitor to double working space. It's kind of like one really wide monitor, only split.
