My new guitar came yesterday. Breedlove "focus", meaning SC-25 with factory-installed fishman blender electronics. Cedar top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard. I bought it "used" from Elderly instruments for $1650, which was $600 less than Elderly's price for a new one (and $700-800 less than anyone else's price). It came perfectly set up. I don't know who used it but it looks absolutely brand new and it's the exact same model they are making right now. I had played one a lot like it and from reputation trusted Elderly and Breedlove so I took the risk of ordering it by mail and it paid off. It is so well balanced; bright yet warm. It's ideal for fingerstyle but strumming with a pick it rings like a bell. Plugged it straight into my PA today and the amplified tone is outstanding and easy to control. I am so psyched.

Please don't tell any acoustic guitarists about this I could use an edge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
VERY cool! I played a Breedlove for the first time a week ago. I have to say if it had been around at the I bought my Taylor, it might have been another story. I was amased at how light it was and the ungodly way it projected sound. I still love the Taylor but damn. So many guitars, so little cash.

I"ve been pimping breedlove for years. you scored well. now get some open tuning fingerstyle samples up in the clinic!
 
Beautiful sounding guitar! I wish I could afford one..Im envious:)
