is the TC electronic triple c a real digital compressor like plugins?

i got a tc electronic triple c since years, i like it for some purposes,
one cool thing is that its got presets and a digital out,
but now i don't know that the processing of the audio is analog or digital,
there's this little screen that displays what happens when you tweak the buttons, but do the buttons just control the analog vca in it, or does all the audio go trough the software of this compressor?

It's a digital processor, no analog compression.
