Confessions of a lurker

I lurk.

Often, after a few posts, most of my thoughts are already addressed by other people, as in this thread.

Ordinarily, I would read, laugh or learn, and then go on to the next thread. If by chance I had some weird thought that no one had previously posted, I would add it.

So there you go.

So what did I add to this thread? Nothing.
That's why I don't post when I have nothing to say.

The numbers cannot be used to equate popularity, originality, quality, or otherwise, since;

1) The 'posts' section is the total number of posts in the thread, minus one (the original thread), including duplicates, and responses from the original author and other posters.

2) The 'views' section is the total number of times the page(s) containing the thread are viewed, not the number of viewers. Each time a person returns to the page to read new posts, or if multi-page, skips to a new page, it will register as an extra view. If a person simply 'refreshes' the page, that would also count as a 'view'.

Thus, ONE person could both make the post, then make hundreds of replies to his own thread, and continually refresh the page, and push those numbers into the thousands. However, the 'views' would ALWAYS be significantly higher, since after each additional post, the page is 'reviewed'. Thus, the ratio could never really drop below 1/2...

The numbers are by no means an accurate guage to anything demographically....

I'm a lurker/listener/dl'er LOL

I have heard some neat stuff here and appreciate the nice comments about my song I posted! :) I hope to contribute more comments as time allows but I work 2 part time jobs, am a computer tech in my "spare" time and have 2 kids and a hubby that need my attention once in a "blue moon"! :) I also post regularly on 2 other boards (1 music related) so it's more just finding the time. :)

P.S. I am not a fan of auto-tuners for vocals :(...it makes it sound "computerish" and "weirded out" JMHO.

Who wants to read a bunch of posts that say "yeah, I agree" or "me too"?

yeah, i totally agree with this statement. It can get annoying.

I hope you have option explicit set to catch the lack of declaration for 'Mmbr'. Not that it matters, since you never reference it inside the for each...next loop.
